Amanda Bobby Brundage, also known by her maiden name Amanda Bobby Cooper, is an American professional MMA fighter who competed in the Strawweight division of the Invicta Fighting Championships and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She currently competes in Lights Out Championship.
Amanda Bobby Brundage was born on October 22, 1991, in Bath, Michigan, United States. She started training boxing and Brazillian jiu-jitsu at an early age. She is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has a professional boxing career before turning to MMA.
Amanda Bobby Brundage made her professional MMA debut on February 15, 2014, versus Brittany Dugas at KOTC – Unrestricted. She won by armbar submission in Round 2.
After the successful debut, she signed with the Invicta FC, where faced Aspen Ladd at Invicta FC 14, but lost by armbar submission in Round 2.
In April 2016, it was announced that Amanda Bobby Brundage would be a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs Team Claudia. On July 6, 2016, she debuted in the UFC, fighting versus Tatiana Suarez at the UFC – The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale, but lost by brabo choke submission in Round 1.
On November 19, 2016, Amanda Bobby Brundage fought versus Anna Elmose at the UFC Fight Night 99, winning by unanimous decision.
In 2017, Amanda Bobby Brundage had two fights versus Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 209 (lost by rear-naked choke submission) and Angela Magana at UFC 218 (won by TKO).
In 2018, she registered two losses by Mackenzie Dern at UFC 224 (by rear-naked choke submission) and Ashley Yoder at UFC Fight Night 139 (by split decision). The UFC opted not to renew her contract after the last fight.
In 2019, Amanda Bobby Brundage signed with the Lights Out Championship. On September 7, she won her fight versus Jamie Milanowski at Lights Out Championship 5 by TKO in Round 1.
